A spacious characterful two bed semi-detached cottage, sleeps 4 (room for an extra bed if required) with its own enclosed garden. It has “Norfolk winder stairs”, a wood burner with a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/diner. The original bread oven and salt store are also still there!
Really enjoyed our stay, the area is very nice. The cottage was great, we bought stuff we didn’t need because it was all here. Thank you

Cherry Tree Cottage is our spacious dog friendly, characterful two bedroom, one bathroom Grade II listed brick and flint cottage, traditionally styled and packed with original and enhanced features.
Originally part of Clevency House, Cherry Tree is ideally located for your family, friends and furry companions to explore the wonderful Norfolk coastline.
Downstairs you enter via the porch into the lounge, with its welcoming large fireplace with log burner and cosy surroundings, leading into a spacious new kitchen/dining area with the original salt cupboard and bread oven, stone wall and original stone flooring. There is bench seating and a dining table, suitable for six. Fully equipped with an electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto Coffee machine, AirFryer, fridge and freezer and washing machine. There is also the front door leading out onto your own enclosed private front garden with patio with table and chairs.
Upstairs, via the “Norfolk winder” staircase with bespoke rope balustrade the main large double bedroom has a TV with Freeview and aspect windows on three sides; there is also a twin room with single beds, Both rooms have plenty of space for a cot or extra bed for a child – available free of charge on request. The spacious new family bathroom has a bath, shower, heated towel rail, WC and basin.
Cherry Tree Cottage has free Wi-Fi, Smart HDTV with streaming service, DAB radio with Bluetooth, hairdryer, central heating. Towels and linen are provided. There is a private driveway with allocated parking and use of a communal garden with a gazebo and BBQ with seating. There is also a new doggie shower for our welcomed pets to use.
Great Snoring is a quiet village just a ten minute drive from the popular coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham, with its independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, fabulous quay, pinewoods and stunning beach (which is also dog-friendly). Less than three minutes in the car or a 30 minute walk along the Walsingham Way and you are at historic Little Walsingham’s award-winning farm shop with cafés, two village pubs and the nationally renowned shrine.
A perfect base to explore the stunning Norfolk coastline and a truly remarkable area of outstanding natural beauty.
The cottage is a non-smoking / non-vaping area. For dog owners and walkers there is a lovely footpath just round the corner from the cottage named the Walsingham Way and a lovely circular walk around the village.
