Rose Cottage is our spacious, detached, two bedroom, one with ensuite with shower, downstairs bathroom characterful Grade II listed brick and flint cottage set in the grounds of Clevency Cottages. Perfect for family, friends, furry companions to relax and explore the wonderful Norfolk coastline.
Downstairs is a spacious new and well equipped kitchen/diner with a Norfolk stone feature wall with microwave, electric oven and hob, toaster, kettle, Dolce Gusto Coffee machine, fridge freezer, AirFryer, dining table and chairs. There are French doors that open out onto a fully enclosed private garden with patio and garden table and chairs. There is a lounge / snug with a new log burner, 44″ Smart HD TV with streaming facility and a separate utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is a separate bathroom which has exposed brick feature and has a bath, WC, heated towel rail and sink.
Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double bed, ensuite shower room, TV with Freeview and hairdryer and the other bedroom is a twin room with two single beds. The twin room does have space for a cot or an extra bed (full size single bed) both available free of charge on request.
Rose Cottage has free Wi-Fi, smart HDTV with streaming available, DAB radio with Bluetooth, central heating. Towels and linen are provided. There is a private driveway with allocated parking and use of a communal garden with Gazebo and BBQ area and seating. There is use of a new doggie shower too.
Great Snoring is a quiet village just a ten minute drive from the popular coastal resort of Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham with its independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, fabulous quayside, pinewoods and stunning beach (which is also dog-friendly). Less than three minutes in the car or a 30 minute walk away down the Walsingham Way and you are at historic Little Walsingham’s award-winning farm shop with cafés, two village pubs and the nationally renowned shrine.
A perfect base to explore the stunning Norfolk coastline and a truly remarkable area of outstanding natural beauty. Clevency is very close to the village church of St Mary the Virgin and can be viewed and the chimes heard from both Rose cottage garden and communal areas.
The cottage is a non-smoking / non-vaping area. For dog owners and walkers there is a lovely footpath just round the corner from the cottage (Walsingham Way) and a short circular walk right around the village.
